In the next two weeks, autumn holidays will take place in different parts of Norway.

However, Avinor expects very few travelers compared to previous years.

“Although we are entering a period that normally results in a significant increase in the number of passengers, we see that the increase in traffic that occurred in the summer has come to a halt,” Traffic Development Manager at Avinor Gaute Skallerud Riise noted in a press release.

Few passengers

The autumn holidays seem to be no exception.

At Norway’s main airport, Oslo airport, there will be just over 25,000 passengers in a few days.

That is a very low number compared to last year when there were over 100,000 passengers during the busiest days.

Avinor is asking travelers to be aware of the airline’s information on the use of face masks while traveling.
