Cruise passengers flock to Bergen. This year, the city has welcomed 298 cruise ships and just over 490,000 passengers.

It is a new record, and still the season isn’t over completely. On Thursday this week, the ship ‘Magellan’ will dock there, reports the newspaper BergensAvisen.

Bergen Port Authority have taken note that 147,000 German cruise passengers have been among the visitors to the city.

Additionally, 121,000 Britons, 48,000 Americans, 33,000 French, 32,000 Spanish and 23,000 Italians arrived to the city by sea.

The 2017 season starts in February, and there are already 323 reserved cruise ships. For the 2018 season, the port authority have already received 227 calls.
