From next week, Finland will once again allow entry from Norway.

At the same time, the country will open its borders for people from a number of other countries, including Sweden and Germany.

On Thursday, Interior Minister Maria Ohisalo announced that Finland would introduce new entry rules next week.

Until now, Finland has only allowed entry for people coming from countries with a maximum of eight new reported cases of coronavirus infection per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The limit will now be increased to 25 new cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants.

More information is expected to be revealed at a press conference on Friday morning.
