Spain removes the quarantine period for foreigners from July 1, making it easier for the country to welcome tourists.

The Spanish government decided on Monday. The decisions are in line with recent signals from Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Tourism Minister Reyes Maroto.

The Norwegian government has advised against unnecessary foreign travel until 20 August. From June 15 there can be a relief for travel in the Nordic countries and from July 20 for other neighboring countries.

The Coronavirus pandemic hit Spain hard. The country has over 282,000 cases of infection, and more than 28,750 Coronavirus deaths have been recorded.
