Four out of ten have seen drunken Norwegians with children on a foreign holiday

In a survey from Response Analysis, 41 percent say they have seen Norwegians drunk with the children on vacation.

– It’s worrying many. Behind that number, there are a number of hidden holiday memories, “says Randi Hagen Eriksrud, Secretary General of the AV-OG-TIL Alcohol Organization.

The Secretary-General thinks it’s bad that most people say they do not want to get drunk with the kids, but change as soon as we cross the borders.

“Most people agree that drinking with children is not good at all. But it may seem like we think it’s a bit more okay abroad. It’s a huge problem for the kids. For them it’s just as bad to experience seing a drunk mom or dad, no matter where in the world it happens, ” says Eriksrud.

Last year in a similar survey, around 10 percent answered that they drank alcohol every day during the foreign holiday,
