The reason is that Norway still maintains its restrictions on its borders for German tourists, reports Aftenposten.
Thus, Norway, together with Spain and Sweden, are among the countries in the EU / EEA area that Germans are recommended to stay away, according to the German media.
“It’s really regrettable. Germany has the same infection profile and just as strict measures as Norway. Germans are incredibly important to Norwegian tourism,” said Kristin Krohn Devold, director of NHO Reiseliv (The Norwegian Hospitality Association).
