Norwegians are dropping summer trips abroad this year. More than four out of five Norwegians believe that they will spend summer holidays only in Norway this year.

At the same time, a record number of Norwegians said “yes” to the corona vaccine.

More than 14,000 people have been asked about their summer plans by the Norwegian Corona Monitor from Opinion.

A total of 82% believe that they will spend summer holidays in Norway. Only 6% don’t think that is the case, while the rest do not know.

At the same time, the survey shows that the proportion of Norwegians who want the long-awaited vaccine is increasing markedly. In March, 85% said they would get vaccinated. Only 7% said “no.”

“The desire to get vaccinated is increasing rapidly and sharply in the population,” senior adviser Nora Clausen in Opinion noted.
