SAS delivered 2.8 million passengers in August this year, an increase of 4.3 percent from the same month last year.
The cabin factor, ie how well the company is able to fill the aircraft fell 0.1 percentage point to 79.8 percent, according to a press release sent on Friday.
Traffic figures are the best for August in the company’s history, writes E24.
SAS reports that in the second half of August, the company has begun to adjust capacity for routes with more business travel, following a high demand for leisure trips during summer vacation.
Norwegian presented its August numbers on Thursday. The company had over 3.6 million passengers, an increase of 10 percent from the same month last year.
