Technical failure was the reason when Norwegians’ flight from Pisa to Oslo on Friday night had to turn around and return to Italy, according to the airline’s website.

It is VG who first reported that Norwegians flight DY1867 had to turn around due to technical problems.

The flight was scheduled to depart from Pisa at 20.35 on Friday night, but the departure was delayed for just over an hour before the plane took off on 23.03.

When the plane was finally in the air, it had to turn around and return to Italy.

We regret having to redirect the flight; DY1867 from Pisa (PSA) to Oslo (OSL) 09.08.2019 20:35 back to Pisa (PSA) due to technical problems. The new estimated departure time has not yet been confirmed, but we will update you as soon as we have new information, Norwegian writes on its website.
