Passengers who should have flown with Norwegian to and from Finnmark in April are currently being informed by the airline that flight departures have been canceled.
Press officer Charlotte Holmbergh in Norwegian Jacobsson states that this is due to restrictions around the world and a sharp fall in demand for travel as a result of the situation with Covid-19, writes iFinnmark.
– “Unfortunately, given the current situation, we have no choice,” she says.
Asked if there may be canceled departures with SAS in April, the company’s Danish press spokesperson, Sille Beck-Hansen, responds that SAS only looks to no more than a week at a time.
Widerøe maintains flights to Finnmark in April, in agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
