The Norwegian airline was voted Europe’s best low-cost airline in 2019 at this year’s Word Travel Awards in Madeira, Portugal.
The World Travel Awards are awarded to the best players in the travel industry, and there are representatives from the industry who vote for the winners, says Norwegian.
“This award is an acknowledgment for the wonderful job our 11,000 skilled employees do every day, and it shows that new aircraft, good service and low prices are appreciated by travelers. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us,” says Norwegian chief Bjørn Kjos.
It is the fifth consecutive year that the airline has been awarded this prize.
