Only one in seven Norwegians says they will travel abroad this year due to the corona crisis, a new poll shows.

Of 3,000 Norwegians, 15 per cent answered that they will travel abroad during 2020, according to a new poll from Opinion.

A clear majority of 61 per cent say they won’t travel abroad, while 24 per cent say they do not know yet.

“We see an abrupt stop for trips abroad this year, and this applies to both holiday trips and business trips,” says Senior Adviser Nora Clausen at Opinion.

A majority of 8,000 respondents (53 per cent) also fear that the summer holidays next year may be affected by the corona situation.
