A passenger plane from Icelandair had to land at Sola airport outside Stavanger on Sunday evening.
The plane was on its way from Copenhagen to Reykjavik when it had to make a forced landing in Stavanger.
‘’The emergency landing was carried out in a controlled manner’’ said the main rescue center in Southern Norway on Twitter. All emergency services and the rescue service were notified and in readiness at the emergency landing.
To VG newspaper, Avinor’s press spokesman said that the aircraft warned that it had engine trouble and that it landed without problems.
According to Stavanger Aftenblad newspaper, the aircraft had only one functioning engine. There were 184 passengers on board.
