It is not possible to travel outside the EEA without being quarantined upon arrival in Norway.

The Minister of Health and Care Services, Bent Høie, stated at a press conference on Friday.

The government also recommends avoiding unnecessary travel to any country. Including countries that are considered “green”.

-”Increased travel activity has led to an increase of infections in Norway. We now advise against unnecessary travel abroad. This means that we also will not allow travel from countries outside the Eu/EEA immediately.”, said Høie.

Travelers that arrive from red countries shall have face masks when they arrive in Norway and on the way home for quarantine.

When staying in “green countries”, one will not need quarantine upon arrival, For any other travels, a quarantine of 10 days will be required.
