SAS is loosening the rules for rebooking flights to China as a result of the virus outbreak there.

– “The foreign ministries throughout Scandinavia; Norway, Sweden and Denmark advise against travel to Hubei province. SAS does not currently fly to that province, but when it comes to flights to and from China, you can now book for free if you have a trip before February 23,” says SAS’s information manager Knut Morten Johansen.

SAS has so far not offered any cancellations, citing that the foreign ministries in the three Scandinavian countries do not discourage travel to the rest of China, only to the virus-affected areas.

– But we are monitoring the situation closely, says Johansen.
