SAS: Refunds can take over three months

It can take over three months to recover the money after buying flights from the airline SAS, the company tells VG.

SAS says they are doing what they can to get through what they refer to as “inquiries like none other”, but admits that it can take time for people to get their money back, the newspaper writes.

The extraordinary situation caused by the corona crisis means that the airline is unable to meet the deadline for reimbursement.

“We work through the reimbursement requirements day by day, claim by claim, and in some cases it will probably take longer than three months,” says SAS press officer John Eckhoff.
