Cabin employees in the German airline Lufthansa go on strike, causing about 1,300 flights to be canceled the next two days.

Currently, flights to and from Munich and Frankfurt have been affected in Norway.

– “Tomorrow we have eight departures and eight arrivals with Lufthansa. Three arrivals and four departures have been canceled so far,” Avinor communications adviser Nora Prestaasen told NTB.

On Friday, three departures and four arrivals were canceled.

– “We encourage travelers to follow the information from Lufthansa,” says Prestaasen.

Globally, the strike leads to 180,000 passengers being affected, Lufthansa said Wednesday, following two unsuccessful attempts to halt the strike in labor law.
