The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) believes the tourist industry should do more in preventive work, after 13 people lost their lives in avalanche accidents last year.
Six of them were foreigners. Tourism manager Chris Hudson says the tourism industry already provides good information on the dangers of avalanches.
