Twelve Norwegians were refused entry on Saturday morning in Alicante, Spain, and thus had to return to Norway on the same SAS aircraft they arrived with.
Spain has closed its borders to tourists, and the country does not allow tourists to enter before July 1st.
– “You have to understand the restrictions in the country you are traveling to. This is very important,” says Press Manager John Eckhoff of SAS to Dagbladet.
Norwegian authorities advise against all travel to Spain until August 20.
