The country’s largest package travel company, Ving, cancels all scheduled departures to Greece for the rest of the season.

-”We have canceled Greece due to the sales situation. Since the government has clearly stated that we are not to travel abroad, almost all sales stopped on departures in September and early autumn.”, says the Information Manager, Siri Røhr-Staff, of Ving to Flysmart24.

Ving in Norway has followed Ving of Sweden, which last week said that they would cancel all trips to Greece from Monday this week.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health, on Monday, recommended that greece be marked as red after a recent increase in infections. IN the last two weeks, Greece has had an infection of 22.5 confirmed Corona cases per 100,000 people.
