House prices rose by 1% in May, Eiendom Norge announced on Thursday. House prices are now 11.3% higher than a year ago.
“House prices rose in May more than usual for the month. The exception is Oslo, where prices fell by 0.6%,” CEO of Eiendom Norge, Henning Lauridsen, said during the presentation of house price statistics at a press conference on Thursday morning.
However, the twelve-month growth is declining, and Eiendom Norge expects a weaker development in house prices in the future.
Adjusted for seasonal variations, house prices rose by 0.6%.
