The start of the government’s reopening plan, scheduled for Friday, will have a considerable impact on value creation and jobs, Virke – the Enterprise Federation of Norway – believes.
“It is very gratifying that the development of infection now indicates that step 1 in the reopening plan can be implemented.
“The companies would rather stay open with infection control measures than remain closed,” CEO Ivar Horneland Kristensen at Virke said in a comment to news bureau NTB.
With the new measures, which will apply from Friday, the national alcohol serving ban will also be lifted.
It will also be allowed for up to 100 people to gather at events indoors and 200 people outdoors.
