Bergen Municipality is struggling to find enough health personnel.
On Saturday, Bergen’s City Council asked the neighboring municipalities for support.
“It is a fairly clear warning, now that we’re asking the neighboring municipalities for help,” Health Councilor Beate Husa said.
Husa noted that the pressure on the municipal health service in the infection boom had been understated, even though the number of hospital admissions remained low.
The newspaper Bergens Tidende writes that the neighboring municipalities don’t have any personnel that they could spare to help out Bergen.
