From the New Year, the EU’s roaming agreement with the United Kingdom will end. What this means for Norwegian mobile phone users is unclear.

The changes also have consequences for private individuals, according to newspaper Nettavisen.

It is currently unclear what Brexit will mean for Norwegian mobile users, the two largest players Telenor and Telia state.

“We will have to see whether Brexit will have consequences here… At Telenor, we do our utmost to deliver roaming services at competitive prices, and this will also apply in a possible new agreement with the United Kingdom,” communications manager David Fidjeland in Telenor Norway wrote in an email to Nettavisen.
