Barely four percent of electric car owners would consider going back to driving gasoline or diesel vehicles. Most people are very satisfied with their electric vehicle, according to a survey.
Norwegian EV association has asked the 3422 electric car owners across the country if they would consider switching to another type of vehicle if they were to buy a new car.
70 per cent responded that they would have chosen an electric car again, while 16 per cent would have chosen a rechargeable hybrid car – which is becoming increasingly popular – and only 8 percent said they were undecided.
– Once you’ve tried electric cars you will not return to gas or diesel. EV owners experience electric vehicles as quiet, emission-free and inexpensive to operate, says Christina Bu, General Secretary of the Norwegian electric vehicle association.
Today, according to the association there are around 85,000 electric cars in Norway, which is equivalent to around 3 percent of the roughly 2.6 million cars registered in Norway.
