Several of the glacial arms of Jostedalsbreen continued to shrink this year, new measurements show.
Haugabreen glacier in Jølster withdrew 6 meters, while the Vesle Supphellebreen glacier shrank by 22 meters. In addition, the glacial tongues have melted along the sides and become thinner.
The Norwegian Glacier Museum & Ulltveit-Moe climate centre have made the observations.
