Justice Minister Jøran Kallmyr (Frp) returns home a day earlier from a visit to Rwanda because of the government crisis.

Kallmyr is to travel to the African country on Sunday as planned, but will drop the last day of the visit to return home Tuesday afternoon. This is stated by the Ministry of Justice and political advisor Christoffer Pedersen to TV 2.

On Wednesday, he was scheduled to have meetings with, among others, Rwanda’s Minister for Refugees and Emergency and Justice Minister Johnston Busingye. Norway will receive 600 UN refugees from refugee camps in Rwanda.

Kallmyr was to travel directly from Rwanda to Croatia, where EU justice ministers will meet on Thursday.
