The Norwegian Food Safety Authority is withdrawing Ferrero’s Kinder chocolate eggs and other Kinder products from the Norwegian market.

The withdrawal applies to Kinder Surprise, both single and in 3-pack, Kinder Mini eggs, Kinder Surprise Maxi, and Kinder Schokobons.

The decision was made due to suspicion of a connection with an ongoing salmonella outbreak in several European countries, the Authority wrote in a press release on Wednesday.

Consumers who have purchased the products are encouraged to throw away the product or return it to the store.
