The German airline Lufthansa plans to cancel all flights to, from, and over Russia for the next seven days.
All aircraft in Russian airspace will leave it shortly, Lufthansa said on Saturday. Several other companies have announced similar plans.
Russia has closed airspace to planes from several European countries, including Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania.
Several other European countries, including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia, have also closed their airspace to Russian aircraft.
