Man dies when hiking in the mountains of Sør-Varanger

A man who had been on a hiking trip with other hikers at mountains at Bugøyfjord in Sør-Varanger in Finnmark, have died after he went missing on Friday.A Finnish tourist
The man was reported missing at 11.30.
– The rest of the tour mates were a little unsure of where he might be found, which lead to a Sea King rescue helicopter being used in searching for the man. The man was located by helicopter, and rescuers were submitted, said operations manager Henning Robertsen in Finnmark police.
At 15 o’clock the emergency services could confirm that the man had died.
– We do not know any more yet about what has happened. We will not bring more information about the age and nationality until we have contacted his relatives, Robertsen said.
