We stood for election on making life easier for people, and this regulation change will do just that. Today the system is such that if you switch from the company that is also responsible for your mains supply to an independent power provider, you will get two bills, says Minister Tord Lien to the newspaper Dagbladet.
From the autumn by introducing Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), new rules will allow all power suppliers to provide one consolidated bill to customers. The proposal was submitted for consultation in January 2015.
