Russian Embassy: The NATO Exercise in Norway is of an anti-Russian nature
The Russian Embassy in Norway protests against the NATO exercise Trident Juncture, which is underway and believes it is of an anti-Russian nature.
– Despite quite awkward attempts by representatives of the Alliance and the Member States to produce such military activity as defensive, it is obvious that this demonstration of a fighting potential is of a clear anti-Russian character, the embassy writes in a Facebook post on Friday afternoon.
The Embassy demonstrates that the participants during this exercise will prepare to train under climatic conditions that are most similar to our climate.
According to the Embassy, Russia’s concern has not diminished after they have been informed that the number of participating military at the last minute has increased to 50,000 and that a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier from the USA has become part of the exercise.
