Solberg set to announce news related to the fourth step of Norway’s reopening plan on Monday

On Monday, Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Minister of Health Bent Høie will talk about the next steps in the reopening of Norway.

Health director Bjørn Guldvog and FHI director Camilla Stoltenberg will also be present at the press conference that will take place around noon.

On Thursday, Høie announced a possible postponement of step four in the reopening plan due to the delta variant. He has received support from Guldvog.

The government has said that there should be at least three weeks between each step in the reopening plan. Step three was implemented on June 20. 

Step four means that a good deal of corona restrictions would be eased. However, general infection control measures and entry restrictions would still apply.
