Two men in their 50s are accused of using violence against a teenage boy in Stjørdal in Trøndelag in October.
The violent incident took place in the center of Stjørdal on the evening of Thursday, October 28, last year, according to the indictment from the Trøndelag Police District.
The case is related to several incidents related to a local youth environment last year, the police stated in a press release.
“The police approach instances where adults use violence against children very seriously. Only the police have access to force to maintain peace and order in Norway,” prosecutor Ole Andreas Aftret stated.
The boy’s young age is considered an aggravating element in the case. The police have conducted multiple interrogations and obtained surveillance material.
