A woman in her late 20s acknowledged feeding her husband mouse poison over a period of time. She was arrested, and charged with attempted murder in September.

According to VG newspaper, the woman owed it to a ‘demanding marriage’. On one occasion, she mixed poison into his vanilla-custard.

Her husband became seriously ill after the poisoning and needed medical attention in hospital.

The woman’s defence lawyer, Morten Furuholmen, said ’She admits guilt for bodily harm, but she didn’t intend to kill him. She also did everything in her power to get him to the hospital when he was admitted there.’
Police Attorney, Christian Hatlo, said the matter is largely viewed as resolved; what remains is some questioning and cross-examination before the prosecution case is concluded.
