The Gullballen was awarded to Caroline Graham Hansen and Martin Ødegaard

Caroline Graham Hansen (Barcelona) and Martin Ødegaard (Real Sociedad) received the Gold Ball award on Saturday as the best female and male soccer player of the year for Norway.

It happened at the opening of the Sports Gala in Hamar. None of them were present, but each thanked over video greetings.

– “Thank you a lot. I really appreciate it. I especially want to thank my teammates at the national team. It’s been a great year, and I hope the next one gets a lot better,” Graham Hansen said.

– Martin Ødegaard thanks the jury. “It is a great honor to receive this. There are an incredible number of good football players in Norway today, and I really appreciate it, but I have to share the prize with all my teammates and coaches both in Vitesse, my current club Real Sociedad and of course on the national team,” said Ødegaard.
