The hotel chain Scandic Norge cuts around 1,000 full-time job equivalents in Norway due to a failing economy as a result of the Corona crisis.
– As the hotels are now reopened, demand is expected to grow gradually, but like other players in the industry, Scandic Norway is facing a demanding financial time. As a result of the financial situation and downturn in demand, the company has decided to reduce staff by about 1,000 full-time positions, the company writes in a press release on Tuesday.
