Solberg hopes for “business as usual” by next spring

Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) says she hopes the world can return to normal by next spring, after a Coronavirus vaccine is in place.

“Normalization will depend on a Coronavirus vaccine being developed and the most vulnerable groups vaccinated,” says the Prime Minister of the Summer Quarter at NRK.

“Then it will become easier to go back to ‘business as usual’, even though not everyone is vaccinated, because those who are at risk of being hit the hardest, will be the ones who can tolerate it,” she said.

She urges Norwegians to continue to follow infection prevention advice and believe in the risk that the pandemic may flare up again seriously.

– “I get a little stressed when I hear about people having large parties and people in crowded areas, people who are too close to each other,” Solberg emphasizes.
