Employment figures remained stable from the fourth quarter of 2020 to the first quarter of 2021. 141,000 people were unemployed, according to Statistics Norway (SSB).
The number of vacancies rose by 1.3% points compared with the same quarter last year, according to the Labor Force Survey (LFS) from the SSB.
A total of 141,000 people, corresponding to 5% of the labor force in Norway, were unemployed in the first quarter.
Furthermore, 2,699,000 people aged 15–74 were employed in the first quarter, which corresponds to 67.2% of the population in that age group.
