The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research has received 43 reports of sightings of basking sharks along the Norwegian coast.
“Basking sharks are the world’s second largest fish, but unfortunately we know too little about the shark species,” says marine scientist Claudia Junge at the Institute of Marine Research.
