In Bergen, 16 new corona infection cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. That is twice as many as the average in the previous week.
Nine of the infected people are close contacts, and two are imported infection cases. Three have an unknown route of transmission, and one has an uncertain route of transmission, Bergen Municipality stated on its website.
A total of 1,676 people tested themselves in Bergen on Wednesday.
In addition, four new mutated virus cases of the British variant have been detected.
