Chief Medical Officer Trond Egil Hansen at Bergen Municipality is concerned that more outbreaks in the city could lead to a new lockdown.
“The numbers have fluctuated a bit up and down in recent days, but there seems to be a rising trend now. Therefore, measures could be announced fairly quickly,” Hansen told newspaper Bergensavisen.
On Wednesday, 27 new infection cases were registered in Bergen, the highest number for a single day in the city since November 26.
Hansen is, among other things, worried about the outbreaks at the construction site at Fantoft station and Rothaugen school.
