Infection rates increased by 147.1% in Oslo last week. Nationally, the infection rates also rose sharply.
A total of 2,293 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Oslo in week 34, up 147.1% from 928 cases in week 33, according to NTB.
Nationally, the infection increased by 89.2% to 8,214 infected people last week, up from 4,342 infected people the week before.
NTB based its calculation on the figures from the MSIS register.
