The Danskebåt ship forgot to pick up 60 of its passengers when it left Bergen on Wednesday, the newspaper Bergensavisen reports.

The newspaper has been contacted by a number of angry passengers who say that they were left behind by the Danish boat MS “Bergensfjord.”

“There are 40-50 people here who are pissed off,” Per Flytlie, one of the unlucky passengers, said.

The Fjord Line company confirmed that passengers were left behind. They say the incident happened due to a failure in the communication between the crew on the ship and the one on land. Due to the issue, passengers who did not travel by car were left behind.

The travelers will be refunded. The company strongly apologized.

“Two buses are set up to transport people to Stavanger so that they can get on the ship there. Of course, everyone will get their money back for the trip, even if they choose to travel further,” Flemming Hofmann Tveitan in Fjord Line told Bergensavisen.
