A 20-year-old man was stopped on the E6 in Trondheim on Friday night – drunk and on an electric scooter.

The man was stopped near the fire station at Sluppen south of Trondheim city center.

The driver’s explanation was that he lived south of the city and was on his way home. That explanation was not accepted.

“Riding drunk on an electric scooter is a very, very bad idea. And an even worse idea if you do it on an international E-road. It’s crazy,” communications consultant Christoffer Solstad Steen in Trygg Trafikk noted.

Drinking and riding electric scooter is detrimental both to the driver and and other pedestrian on the street. On 17th May a a young guy in stupor collapsed on the pavement after crossing the zebra felt. We witnessed this.
Better put a complete stop othese electric scooters before such fatal accidents will be on the increase
