Eight young people have been arrested in connection with the wave of robberies of children and young people in Oslo from September 17 to 19. Most of those arrested are under 18 years of age.
In a press release, the Oslo Police District states that eight young people were arrested on Thursday. They are all suspected of robbery.
At least ten children and young people were robbed during the weekend of September 17-19. Most of those arrested are children between the ages of 15 and 18.
The robberies took place in various places in Oslo, including Korsvolltoppen, Ullevål Hageby, St. Hanshaugen, and Jernbanetorget.
The arrested young people have been questioned, and six have now been released. On Thursday, the police carried out a major operation at various addresses in Oslo and neighboring districts. They made a number of discoveries related to the robberies.
