A total of 1,176 cases of the omicron variant have been detected in Norway so far. Since Monday, 218 new cases have been detected, according to the FHI’s website.
The first case of omicron in Norway was detected on December 1, 2021. A total of 1,176 confirmed cases have been identified since then.
The new cases have been confirmed in the following counties:
* Agder: 63
* Innlandet: 29
* Møre og Romsdal: 3
* Nordland: 2
* Oslo: 581
* Rogaland: 41
* Troms og Finnmark: 14
* Trøndelag: 2
* Unknown: 34
* Vestfold og Telemark: 103
* Vestland: 22
* Vikend: 282
