Five people, including a young woman, have been charged in a serious drug case in Bodø.
All five were arrested in a police operation just outside Bodø on Friday night, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reports.
According to the national broadcaster, the prosecuting authority does not want to comment on the case.
All five have had a defender appointed.
“My client is charged in a serious drug case,” defense attorney Sulman Maroof Hussain told the national broadcaster.
He says his client is a man in his early 20s and confirms that the other accused people in the case are around the same age.
He told NTB that his client had been remanded in custody for four weeks due to the risk of evidence being lost.
