Gram: Norway is considering donating more weapons to Ukraine

The Norwegian government is considering further arms deliveries to Ukraine, Minister of Defense Bjørn Arild Gram (SP) confirmed on Wednesday.

Gram did not provide details on the type of weapons or military equipment in question.

“We understand that there is a need for further donations. Norway has provided weapons in several rounds, and the previous shipment was heavy artillery,” Gram said.

He says there is close cooperation between the donor countries. And they are also in close contact with Ukraine so that they have a good overview of what the country needs.

“We are considering further deliveries,” Gram said, adding that the government also contributes financial support via a British fund so that Ukraine can buy weapons itself.

The Norwegian Minister of Defense met his British colleague Ben Wallace in Oslo on Wednesday, as well as leaders from the ten countries participating in the Joint Expeditionary Force exercise.

  1. Peace Prize Norway.

Rather more seriously – indeed insanely – Norway’s NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has invited Zelensky to the NATO summit in Madrid heightening the strategic/nuclear confrontation of our NATO vs. Russia Ukraine War, ballistically.
I’ve already noted Jens’s fanatically uncompromising warmongering, vocally opposing the fair security treaty we owe the Russians as an unacceptable “off ramp” – which exactly parrots pro-war Atlantic Council CEO Fred Kempe, incidentally.
Bored-with-peace, war-rabid Western lemmings. (By contrast, the American *People* are SICK of war and are already fed up with this war’s inflation.)

In any case, Jens has again shown himself to be a clear and present and deadly danger to world peace and to our families.

But a couple days ago, there was a bombshell! Guardian (to my surprise) and a few other media reported that at that interview in May Pope Francis had not only described NATO as barking at Russia’s door, but he stated:

“We do not see the whole drama unfolding behind this war, which was, perhaps, somehow either provoked or not prevented.”

… with the clear implication that people in the West are not being told the whole truth
(as well as a clearer statement that Western leaders are no less responsible for this latest neocon holocaust war).

And indeed, the American Associated Press news service report about this, “Pope blasts Russian ‘cruelty,’ lauds Ukrainian ‘heroism’,” without any mention of the Pope’s key statement above thus amounts to a misleading and indeed deceitful lie by its omission.
And “democracy dies in darkness” Washington Post has as well, complicitly, simply posted/parroted the AP report without Pope Francis’s bombshell quote.

So once again, we are being led into war on lies, only this war will be like none other we have inflicted on others and *their* families, who now include innocent Ukrainians.

And so again, I ask readers to carefully consider my column posted by Yahoo! on 3May22 (which was before Pope Francis’s interview and Henry Kissinger’s 10May22 Financial Times interview now on video),
“Lou Coatney: Russia now left with no choice but nuclear war.”
