A total of 16 new cases of corona infection have been registered in Haugesund in the last 24 hours.
In just over a week, since last Friday, 111 people have been infected in the Municipality.
Early Sunday morning, municipal chief physician Jostein Helgeland reported 16 new infection cases, newspaper Haugesunds Avis writes.
Furthermore, 316 people tested themselves on Saturday.
Helgeland said on Saturday that the Municipality does not have complete control over all cases of infection.
About 10-15% of the cases have an unknown source of the infection, he estimated. He describes the infection situation in the Municipality as serious.
